The final Card--Run Count: 5
That's right. I ran all 150 cards through the press a grand total of 5 times. Only 3 of those were the runs where I had to line everything up. After that, it's not so bad.
I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. There are some places where the printing wasn't all that even, but it's all over, not just on the type. Is that a cop-out? I think I'm getting better at troubleshooting each time I print, but I have yet to turn out anything perfect. Sigh.
I also remembered how much I love my metal type! And truly, the metal type is what prints really beautifully on my teeny press. The linocut blocks don't leave much of an imprint, and I've found that too much inkable area is not a good formula for successful coverage.
So there you have it. After these are all dry and I've taken out the lower quality ones, I'm going to put them up in the 1canoe2 shop.
I have a couple of other projects in the works, and I think Carrie is coming over tonight, so we might get creative (or just sit around and look at stuff.)

Beth, they are beautiful!!! Good for you!
Cool as pepermint.
Man, you can churn them out! I take my sweet a$$ time. Good for you.
Carrie, eh?
These are fantastic. I'm glad you took the time to run them so many times, because the layers of color are great!
