My latest aquisition

Joelle Hoverson's book Last-Minute Patchwork Gifts. She's famous for being the owner of Purl Soho most incredible shops for knitting and quilting in NYC. I visited last April, and you can see my pics here.

This is a great book--can you tell I'm in a rainbow-effect mood? I remember memorizing the rainbow order as a 1st or 2nd grader, and ever since I've been obsessed with arranging things according to it. How About Orange posted a link this week to people who organize their book collection by color. I'm not quite to that point yet, but it might be coming.

Last night's It's Sew Easy Class--Aprons!! Amber here was timid, but she did a great job! All the other girls went home with home work....more pics to come next week.

have I mentioned that i think it's the coolest thing ever that you are teaching a class on sewing?? love it!

and I am definitely eye-ing that book. and color orginization. is it sad to admit my closet is organized first by color then by sleeve length?

...did it just get quiet in here?

hope you are having a great week!
