A Little Vanity
Apparently, if one puts effort into fixing one's hair, it is possible to go to work feeling not feeling like she's been run over by the white trash truck. Who knew!
I do hate the blow-dryer like a wicked hot-air blasting evil snotty older sister. I'm the older sister in my family, and I would never torture my sisters in such a way.
Now I'm gonna go out and sit in my dark little windowless office and answer the phone all day with a constant stream of requests. How would you like it if every time your phone rang, the first words you heard were: "I need." or "I want" or my favorite: "You're going to kill me, but I need this 2 hours worth of work project in 10 minutes. And come up with the best genious design idea ever."
Okay, so in non-self-centered news, you guys need to go check out Etsy's Storque blog/e-zine. There is an article about Hatch Show Print!

great article! I'm going to link it on tonight's post. As for those phone calls- I got them all day long at the mental health office I used to work at at they all went something like this, "I need a refill on my meds, I took my last pill yesterday + don't have any to get me through the day." My response- "why did you wait until you took your last pill to call????" Yeah, I HATE those calls.
pretty beth!! I have had the "I really should look nice at work" feeling lately, too. so I've only allowed myself to wear nice clothes (non-jeans), wear makeup and fix my hair. I even straightened it one day...gasp!
anyway, love the cute hair, although I too hate the blow dryer! and I feel your pain in the non-stop impossible requests. seems the work stress is going around. as I told shona, hang in there!
I can't wait to read that article!

Very pretty!
I hate blow-drying also, but do it at least a few times a week because it is the only way to get my half wavy/ half limp and straight hair to act like it all goes together! Crazy hair.
Love Hatch Show Print! I first heard of them when Mason-Dixon Knitting had their book cover done by them, and then it seems that I saw their work all over. :-)
Oohh.. very sexy. Nice photo. I saw that Hatch Article - yay Nashville! I just wonder if they've been bought by the Country Music Hall of Fame because their website isn't their website anymore - it's directly through the Hall of Fame website... curious.
Can't wait to see my tablecloths tomorrow!
Oh and I put at least three products in my hair every day that I wash it, and I always blow it dry or else it looks hideous. It sounds high maintenance, but it really only takes 5 minutes. Okay maybe 8.
